Surgical-Orthodontic Diagnosis and Treatment Planning in an Asymmetric Skeletal Class III Patient—A Case Report

The skeletal Class III pattern is characterized by a sagittal intermaxillary mesial discrepancy. This discrepancy may have an unfavorable impact on function and aesthetics, which can be aggravated the presence of facial asymmetries. case report describes diagnosis treatment planning 19-year-old male patient with III, maxillary hypoplasia, anterior crossbite, mandibular asymmetry. When reached maturity at end puberty, definitive was hyperdivergent profile asymmetry, surgical-orthodontic proposed. At treatment, bimaxillary surgical correction allowed I symmetry, improving stomatognathic system aesthetics.
